May 1st Discussion

by Bridgette » May 1st, '20, 00:00

Hello communiTEA drinkers,

Today we have Earl Grey Lavender!

For one, the lavender's sweet, floral fragrance is notably soothing, invoking relaxation. Combined with the classic blend of Earl Grey's citrus and a hint of cream, it is sure to become a quiet time favorite.

Is this making you feel mellow?

Hi! This is my first day on CommuniTEA as I received the May box as a gift. This first tea feels luxurious and seems to be an appropriate way to start Law Day.

The lavender and creme flavor in this tea creates a smooth and fluffy (yes I said that) feel and compliments the black tea perfectly.

I've always been a fan of Earl Gray. It seems like a good pick-me-up. But this one is also calming. Lovely tea. Thanks for putting this all together!

 This blend has much lavender quality to it, in fact maybe a bit too much for my particular tastes, as I prefer the creaminess of earl grey moonlight or a straight creme tea, or I can appreciate the flowers in a more toned down format. Otherwise, I may actually enjoy my tea with some cream, though, as I usually take it black. That might mellow the taste of the floral hit.
