I am looking for a new kettle.
My husband wants to replace our current kettle, which got badly discolored after a couple of years, with a new black kettle. I was interested in a cast iron kettle, because many of them are lovely, but they rust, and I would forget to dry it after each use.
I need a black kettle that is low maintenance, doesn't get discolored easily or rust, has an insulated handle, and preferably is as pretty as possible while still meeting the previous criteria.
If I can find a recommendation anywhere, I guess it is here. Does anyone know of a good choice?

I'm recommending variable temperature kettles simply because it's convenient to many tea drinkers.
But if you don't care about the gooseneck and temperature control, this will be fine:
