HAPPY NEW YEARS !
Sharing some new double walled small teacups perfect for 'shincha' green tea.
first, these vessels are thrown as a closed form, then a hole is made and the top 'dome' of the closed form is pushed down to form the inner surface for tea.
Trimmed, then I hand carve each vessel. Some pieces don't survive.
For your viewing pleasure !
Mahalo !

Sorry been on vacation. Making some chadogu and chawan. Some recent offerings. This one reminds me of a starry evening or night. Yozora. Cheers, c
