Pu Shock
Have you guys ever taken the time to read some of the reviews on Adagio's website on their pu po and pu dante? God, I laughed myself sick reading their first impressions on their first taste of pu! I can imagine what they must of looked like! Something possibly like this -
lol Just rich!

Space you are correct. It supposed to soudn like pu-air. However, with more of a 'soft' a, breaking into the er. Like someone doesn't want to annunciate the air part but has to. Boy it is hard describing sounds in text.

The one "steeping" episode is absolutely ridiculous. Im sure a lot of producers and avid Pu fanatics in China are thinking ....."how did we let the westerners get a hold of this stuff!?...."

Perhaps the name originated from a light brew lover's first sip. Rather, the quote of the first person who brewed it a bit too long.

I was thinking more
<guy1>"Here's some leaf of a new kind of tea I've found!"
<guy2>"Thanks!"
*guy2 goes home to brew it, gets caught up in reading or meditating*
<guy2>*sip* "PUARHH!"
