I really like tea. It's not a lifestyle for me, but a nice hobby. I do have other hobbies, though, that come first...

I love tea, but unfortunately without food I'd die :(

A nice jade oolong this morning. It's one of my favorites. Wonderful taste, and I love how the little tea leaf pellets unfurl into full leaves. It's the simple things!

I really like my rooibos and tisanes. It's not quite love, but it is joy.

In my cup this morning, a blend of hibiscus, lemongrass and rosehips.

As much as I love tea, even I love food more, not much, but a little. I also eat, so I can drink TEA another day.

I am enjoying steep #3 of Sencha Premium. This is the last session of this exceptional sencha, truly outstanding and one of the year's best that I have had. It is a sad passing. Sometimes I am relieved upon finishing a bag. Not this time.

I finished up my sample tin of Adagio's Darjeeling #22 this morning. I am due for another cup of tea soon, but I haven't decided what I am in the mood for yet.

I have just received my sencha premium: I will surely open it this week-end and will be able to compare your brewing parameters with mine.

Started the day with the very good Legend of Tung Ting from teahome, now...

90s select aged Nan Tou from Hou De. Mmmnnn, this tea is fantastic! Long aftertaste, 10+ brewing strength, amazing cha qi and reasonably priced.

boiling Fiji water, gaiwan, enough leaves to create a loose weave that totally fills the cup once expanded, quick rinse, 20, 30, 40, 50, 55, +

One reviewer said this about the 90s Nan Tou, I can't say it better so I'm quoting.
"This tea is exquisite. The aged quality is immediately evident--strength, depth, fire. Then follows sweetness, a bold smooth fruitiness--a fragrant quality, but one that's matured, evolved. Finally, a tartness emerges--a counterpoint to the sweetness that brings complexity, wonder. Infusion after infusion flow, losing little in the way of complexity, body, fullness."
