Yerba Mate Flavoured in a bag?
Ok, I was ecstatic about finding Yerba Mate at the local store but hesitated to buy because it's only flavoured and in tea like bags. It's Guayaki brand, which flavour should I try? I've never had Mate before.
Thanks,

I've never tried the stuff teabag style, and haven't heard too much positive about that way of doing it.
However, I have enjoyed Guayaki in loose form.

My first foray into Mate was Celestial Seasoning's Morning Thunder and I still drink it. It's a mix of Mate and Black Tea and has a sort of "mild cup of coffee" type flavor (really hard to describe).
What flavors did they have? I've tried a loose orange one that was pretty good, but prefer the more natural, smoky styles.

I'm not drinking a lot of mate these days, but I have tried and enjoyed Guayaki Magical Mint Mate and Orange Blossom Mate. Both are good hot and both make a great iced tea as well! I didn't care for the Chai Spice Mate, but I'm particular about how my chai is seasoned...

Can you re-steep mate tea bags? I just bought some and found out they are no longer going to carry the product, I might have to buy the remaining stock if I enjoy it.
