looking for seminars
I am planning on opening my own tea room in the near future.
I would like to attend a seminar. I have been unable to find one
near to me. I Live in the Enland Empire in southern CA. If anyone knows of a seminar on opening a tea room near to me,
I would be very grateful for any information.
Thank you, Emma

Hi Emma:
I know that the World Tea Expo in Las Vegas in March has lots of seminars that would be useful in helping you gather info on opening a tea business. Their web address is worldteaexpo.com.
Also, another helpful web site on opening a tea business is www.tea-business-guide.com
Good luck.

Hello Emma,
I read your two posts and think you our information might be of interest to you. My mother and I own and operate Thyme for Tea in Lansdale Pa and our next seminar is in March. We have put together some comprehensive seminars on How to Own and Operate a Sucessful Tearoom as well as a Tea Food School (class to be held in June). In our seminar we cover all aspects of fianicing, marketing, retailing, kitchen basics, partnerships and much, much more. To find out about us you can visit our web site at www.thymefortea.us and can email me at Mariastea@aol.com . I also agree with teadolly that the Expo is a great way to net work with fellow tea owners and industry leaders. That being said I get the impression that you are looking for something more indepth. What we give you are the tools you need to get started, a jumping off point. I look forward to hearing from you and wish you good luck in your new business venture!
Regards,
Maria Rivera

You seminar is EXACTLY what I am looking for. Unforunately
I am unable to travel to Lansdale Pa. Even more upsetting, I
was just in Hersey PA this past July.Would have loved to make the trip to Lansdale to attend your seminar. Thank you for reply to my post.

That's me indeed.
In fact, I wear those clothes every day just in case someone needs to recognize me.
Looking forward!

Y'know, a sticker on your lapel announcing, "Hi, I'm Chris Cason!" might be a better (read: less stinky) way.
Just a suggestion.

I take it back, actually. You're like a cartoon character. Charlie Brown always wore that same damn yellow and black zigzag shirt. People might not have recognized his big melonheaded self without it.
Not that you have a melon head. That's totally not my drift here.
