Yesterday, we discussed caffeine and bedtimes. I was amazed that by far, the highest vote getter was drinking tea right up to bed time. I would not have guessed that. You may still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Welcome everyone to TeaDay. Fill your pot and share with everyone what is in your cup today, all day! Frequent updates are a must. Make sure you check out what is in everyone else's cup...that is at least half the fun. If you need to, you can reflect back on your TeaDay.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic is inspired by Friday's. I have left Friday's poll and discussion topic open so you can still vote and discuss that as well since it is related.
So, today we get philosophical again. What teaware would you be...and why? Have fun or be dead serious, whatever floats your tealeaves today. You can pick whatever teaware you want...
See you all on TeaDay. Remember to smell your tea...

I tried this morning for the first time making Koicha (Thick matcha).
I used Wakamatsu-no-mukashi (Ippodo). The flavor was far better than as usacha, no trace of astringency at all, strong taste and very long and pleasant aftertaste.

I am chosing infuser because I see the leaves and flowers and spices and whatever else you want to put in your infuser as all the experiences that I've accumulated in my life.
Then the hot water IS life and my interaction with individuals outside of myself - at the point of interaction I am effected by the outside world and the outside world and those in it are effected by how I transmit my experiences.
okay there ya have it.
in my cup - Oriental Spice with milk and honey
