Anyone who has logged onto Adagio's Tea Chef knows that November is the Rooibos tea challenge.
Having never discussed this tea much before - what are people's impressions of the Red Tea (as a tea).

Unlike most teas which need room to unfurl, I think roobios is best bagged. I like the taste of roobios but when I try to make it with my little filter papers or filter basket it inevitably escapes and dances around my cup. So If I don't mind the mess I drink it, but I always have to pour my cup through a second filter.
My favorite Adagio roobios flavors are roobios berry and roobios tropics, 2 that I never would have ordered except they were in the sampler. But, I've found good homes for the other ones. My mom took off with my roobios mango (not a mango fan) and my officemates with my roobios vanilla (too sweet for me). And, of course the roobios organic which I think tastes great to cook with and drink when you're trying to get inspired to cook. My officemate has an amazing roobios chai I'm actually drinking today (ROT). It goes well with strong flavors.
I drank a lot of roobios in South Africa when I was there not really knowing exactly what it was, but I'm very glad it can be easily found here. It has such a bright flavor.
