Gunpowder Tea mixed with Peppermint tea
Has anyone ever tried it together? It is a suggesstion Adagio has made and I would love to try it. Also how much of gunpowder tea and peppermint tea do you mix together for the right flavor??
I've been drinking gunpowder for years. I thought it was my personal
improvisation to mix gunpowder and peppermint teas. I mix five tbsp.
of gunpowder and four or five bags of peppermint to a boiling point.
I then add honey and steep for a few minutes. This is done with about
a half gallon of filtered water.

Thanks for the note.
Actually, Nate's concoction is not only good for you (as is all green tea!) but it is also a very popular recipe, called Moraccan Mint.
In Morocco, shopkeepers greet prospective customers with a glass of sweet, mint-flavored green tea. This can either be served hot or cold and at various levels of sweetness (probably depending on how big the sale).
Enjoy,
Chris

No worries... Adrian was probably just taking the first sip of any non-lipton tea. Judging by the syntax of the sentence, I'd say it was Jasmine #12 to be exact.
This is a very common reaction, which is clinically referred to as the "Adagio Assertion."
All the best,
Chris
