"Ocha" de Mayo,2008
Yesterday, responders picked green oolong as their style of choice. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Once again, welcome everyone to TeaDay. Brew some tea and share what is in your cup today, all day! Don't forget to check out what everyone else is sipping today. If you need to, you can reflect back on your TeaDay.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic was sugggested by Yeah Spring! He asked if the weather changes your tea drinking habits. Share with us your thoughts, but especially as the weather is warming up, how will this affect your tea drinking.
I am looking forward as always to checking out what is ub your cup all day.

Because iced tea is always an option, I drink the same amount of tea year round.
Sometimes I drink hot tea regardless of hot weather anyway.
In my cup: yunnan gold

I don't think I drink more tea because of the warmer weather, but because during my summer vacations (9 whole weeks) I have more time to drink tea.
This morning, Keemun for breakfast and Kaburagien sencha. I decided to wait for Kirameki to start drinking shincha this year.

Other: About the same, however 30% is iced. And I use some bag tea to make ice tea. Does that still count?

It stays about the same, in spite of the relatively warm weather. I think white tea goes extremely well with sitting under the ninja parasol on the terrace.

I said 'other' as I have no clue. I'm too new to drinking tea regularly to analyze my tea drinking habits. More likely to be drinking less in warmer weather actually as a nice cold beer sounds more appealing to me after yard work than hot or cold tea.

About the same, but mostly green teas.. Nothing like enjoying a nice cup of Gyokuro while watching the nice weather from the balcony and feel the nice smell of newly cut grass.
Now I`m gonna have some Sencha Miyabi.

I probably drink a bit less tea in hot weather. Unfortunately, when it gets warm I begin heeding the call of diet soda, which I know is probably bad for me, but is frosty and fizzy. Unlike most southerners, I'm not a big fan of iced tea.
Enjoying some Castleton Estate FF Darjeeling this morning.

Ditto, Augie! Hope it gets better for you!
In the warmer months, I do switch to chilled teas later in the day. Oolongs in particular make for amazing iced tea. Not sure if my total consumption increases or stays the same.
