You may be surprised to know that much of the tea available in Japanese restaurants is actually from China. Chinese varieties tend to be less expensive. And since it's an Asian custom to offer tea complimentary, economic factors weight heavily in making this selection. Hence, a preference for Chinese greens. To locate one with a hint of lemon, please visit the following link: http://www.adagio.com/green/citron_green.html. Hope this is exactly what you are looking for.

recently had iced tea flavored w/ passionfruit at a hamburger place called Island Burger. when we asked the manager where to get the tea he said "Restaurant tea"Cannot find that source, he said it was local. We are in S.California.
