It seems you blend in with so many other ordinary things.

But green's the colour of Spring.
And green can be cool and friendly-like.
And green can be big like an ocean, or important like a mountain, or tall like a tree.

When green is all there is to be

I am green and it'll do fine, it's beautiful!
And I think it's what I want to be.

On a similar note, my husband, who is a hardcore espresso and Coke drinker, has discovered that he likes sencha. Well, he has discovered it with my help, of course.

Awesome! You'll have to share your secret with us teasister! I had to introduce mine to Oolong and fool him into trying Houjicha. Still won't drink "lawnclippings".

Greetings from Vegas!!! I hear TeaChat is experiencing some difficulties today. Hopefully the server issues will be resolved shortly.

Started my day with Fukamushi Supreme, I think my fave for May. On the flight, Jasmine Pearls from adagio.

So far at the expo, I have sampled too many teas to mention...all very good. The highlights were:
Matcha ceremonial grade prepared by a Japanese tea exporter, and it was prepared by a Japanese woman in a kimona (spelling?). Really delicious.

The Den himself prepared a shincha that was really good.

A crazy good pouchong by a man from Taiwan doing a demo.

So far...it is amazing!

Gotta run...adagio is planning a fun night. Dinner and the Cirque de Solei!!!

I'm posting because Victoria made me.
So much has been happening lately that I haven't had much alone time to sit down, read, and enjoy tea. I've been away almost every other weekend, gave blood for the first time Tuesday (go me! I love every minute of it and they must have thought I was a lunny because I was so happy during the process), SATs are coming for me next weekend, I'm planning for college, some of my friends are graduating this year so it's a huge deal, my niece is turning one next week, and I really REALLY need a good few hours to drink tea and read. Oy!

Oolong still my favorite, although I've had some lovely blacks, greens, and whites this month as well.
Today drinking TKY, but also enjoying quite a bit of iced constant comment.

Chamekke - You made me laugh, thinking of you singing along with Kermit as you waited for your tea to steep.

Chip - Sounds like you all are in for a great time at the Expo. So envious!

Had sakura sencha this afternoon. By the 5th steep, I just had colored water but the others were good. The lower water temp has helped (150-160) improve the taste for me so I'm wondering if the same would work for other greens. Off to make a cuppa white blueberry.

Coming to the end of this teaday, I realize I did not indicate my favorite tea for the month is oolong.
