Is there any way you could post a side view of that amazing cup?
I'd love to see how the color would show through the "rice."

For trent: The color doesn't show through as much as you would think. The "holes" are very small, and mostly let light through. Unless the tea color is very striking, not much displays through the sides.

For reference, I used some iced tea I had already brewed, a mixture of black and hibiscus. Here's the tea intensity:

And the light is a 50w halogen on my range hood, cup is placed directly below:
