A item for chabako tea ceremony which I plan to use also for other teas.
It is a foldable tray on which you put the chawan, the natsume or chaire (tea caddy), the chashaku (matcha spoon) and other items.
Size 20cmx14cm (8'x5'5) for each "panel" (don't know if it is the right word)

Had my last full session of Kirameki...a few grams left. What too blend it with.

With "lunch" having pu...tou cha. I am practically forcing myself to have a non Japanese green tea. It is strange. I used to have Long Jing everyday w/o fail. I tried to have it now...just no desire. I hope it returns soon, expecially since I have a good deal of it.

The pu is strong, thick and bold. I will be steeping this into the night...if I choose.

I'd probably try to outfit myself with a full gong-fu set up, probably starting with the tray.

Today has been a pleasant but rather monotonous tea day. I got started with some really nice Ceylon from Upton and just kept drinking it all day. Now I'm off to my very first rowing class!

They have a lottery in Finland? Ah yes, I see, the Finland-Norway-Sweden "Viking Lottery" ;) €1,500,000, not bad, not bad...

What kind of car did you buy? That is next on my "save-up-for" list. I'm hoping for a Prius or Honda Civic Hybrid in the next year or two...

Are you serious? Here in tropical Massachusetts it was 97 today. Ugh. What happened to spring? Supposed to be HOTTER tomorrow. I don't mind hot, but I do mind it when it comes before its time.

Creme de la Earl Grey in my cup. Used to love this one. Not so much today. It was the last of the container so unlikely I'll reorder. I think it's a cold weather tea for me. (Or maybe it is just not my thing anymore.)

Well, there is €4,500,000 jackpot on national lottery this week - I put my hopes on that.

Its a small Suzuki SX4 4wd. Around 14000$ in US (I think) and 20000€ here  - also gas prices are nice ~9$/gallon...

Finishing up my tea day with a glass of Darjeeling Oolong. Last of the sample...

I'd bet it'd drive some of you crazy to know I use a mason jar to drink from a lot of the time.  (it's a perfect 6 oz.!)

Have a good night, everyone.

Oh man, there's a long list of teaware I'd purchase right now, leading off with some Tokoname. Celadon, definitely, especially cups. I have no chataku, and would love some sakura ones. And I would probably break out the big guns and buy a tea tray that is wood with inlays (mother or pearl or abalone.) I'd also get a nice cabinet to show off my stuff - but I'll probably do that anyways eventually, just haven't found the right one yet. After 2+ years of looking, I'm not sure I will.

In my cup: oolong #40 and I'm taking a shot at incorporating flowers from the yard like the boys do.
