Chocolate Rooibos

I'm interested in trying a chocolate rooibos to mix with peppermint or fruit rooibos for an after dinner treat.

I have tried Beigian Chocolate from Enjoying Tea. It's okay, but it doesn't quite taste like I thought it would.

Any suggestions?

I really enjoy the 2 black chocolate teas that I have - the only black teas I've tasted so far that I enjoy. I was wondering if just adding a good quality cocoa powder to rooibos would do the trick. When I make rooibos tea I use boiling water and steep for 5 to 7 minutes, which would be enough to extract flavor from the cocoa.

Has anyone else ever tried this?

Are the black chocolate teas you have tried available in decaf?

I like your idea of adding cocoa powder to plain rooibos.

Mine are from Harneys and I don't see any decaf chocolate teas on their website. I bought the first one after trying it in their tasting room. It's very smooth with virtually no astringency or briskness - a quality I don't like in tea.

I'm going to try adding some cocoa to Adagio vanilla rooibos after lunch. I'll let you know how well it works.
