An impressive 92% of responders indicated they had a "new tea" for the first time less than a month ago in yesterday's poll. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Welcome fellow TeaChatters to another TeaDay, shall we brew, and then share what is in our cups today, all day? I say yes. You can also reflect back on your TeaDay if you need to.
Today's TeaPoll (well, not exactly a TeaPoll, well, not a TeaPoll at all) and discussion topic...let's get frivolous and get to know each other a little more. I believe virtually everyone has a snack vice....or more than one. But what is your numero uno snack vice. This is a tough one...to pick just one...lots of luck!
I am looking forward to sharing TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up, refill, repeat many times...

I have a serious sweet tooth and if left to my own devices could probably do myself harm
I am teaching myself to have SOME willpower tho! And, I blended a bunch of 'dessert teas' which definately help take the edge off.
Have not decided what will be in my cup this morning...but, it is going to have to be something strong. Zzzzzzzzzz.

minority report
I wasn't brought up with snacks like chips and crackers and stuff like that. I like food - I love to cook - I make biscotti and raison oatmeal cookies and yeast breads -
I guess my "weakness" would be ice cream - but I don't worry about it.

Yunnan Large Purple Leaf
A lovely 2007 bing of a Large Purple Leaf sheng puerh and its resulting brew. Apparently, some pu leaves turn purple as a result of certain ultraviolet light conditions. Scott at Yunnan Sourcing explains the detail for anyone who might be interested. As you can see, the processed leaves are not purple. I just drink the tea and love looking at the tea cake.

I can pick out something in every category above too. Probably a toss up between chips or ice cream, though.
Twinings Irish Breakfast in my cup this morning. I'm about to do a whole re-model of my kitchen, dining room and living room, so had to pack away just about everything from the kitchen- including the "good" tea. I left out the electric kettle and bagged tea to get me through the next couple of days before the workers show up...
I'm glad I have cheap tastes. It's all good to me.

Cute topic idea!
My two snack vices are chocolate, and chocolate chip cookies. I voted for chocolate, since I eat that more often...dark chocolate. A close third would be the mini black and white cookies that $tarbuck$ keeps at the counter for those impulse purchases. Those are hard to resist!
I almost forgot to write about what's in my tea cup! This morning, I went for something green: Sencha.

I chose other, because I love all snacks. I do mostly have a sweet tooth though, so maybe I thought too soon. I had a magnificent chocolate tasting at The Stanton Social last night- freshly made peppermint patties, chocolate panna cotta, 'ring dong' cake, freshly made chocolate ice cream...and we also got the fresh-made donuts that came with three types of dipping sauces- raspberry, caramel, and chocolate.
Having some formosa oolong this morning...

Anyone that knows me will tell you that I am an Oreo hound. My girlfriend makes fun of me because I have a cookie jar next to our bed. She tends to fall asleep as soon as her head hits the pillow, so I munch on Oreos when I can't sleep. Oreo tea, anyone?
Currently sipping some Gree Anji . Tried it for the first time yesterday morning and am LOVING it!
