How do you come up with this disturbing stuff? It just raises more questions than it answers.
Why is that German guy in the center of a puerh thing?
Are some of those girls anorexic? Some others look really strange. I guess beautiful girls holding teacakes is the Chinese concept of marketing ... or is it German?
How can we get one of those teacakes into the hands of a bloggeur to review?

I completely missed the fact that the Nord is from the IOC and that the peculiar ladies are making the Pucakes form the Olympic rings.
Nice.

I wonder if we'll see pu'er in the in store coolers this summer?
The girls could be on weight-loss tea diet.

Impressive! Thanks for the hard information, Jim! How big a run is 50,000 cakes, do you have any idea? It sounds like a lot to me, but I don't know how many cakes of any one offering are produced by, say, a Menghai or Haiwan.puerhshop wrote:Landsuntea aka Longshen Tea Factory has its root in pharmaceutical industry and it's one of the biggest tea production companies in Yunnan. Small production, big price
A production of 50,000 cakes is a small batch, nicely packed for a huge profit.
I believe Menghai's 7542 cakes in any given year would be 10 times bigger in terms of production quantity.
This type of cake is of souvenir value. I would get something else if it's for drinking.
