Hello, Adam! Good to meet you.

Re: Adagio, I took a peek at their International Shipping page and for what it's worth, Australia is not listed. If I were you, I'd contact Adagio via their Contact Us webpage to ask what the situation is. They are usually very quick to respond.

Hello and Welcome!

What kind of tea stores do you have in Australia? What type of teas are commonly made there?
Although my neighbors are all barbarians,
And you, you are a thousand miles away,
There are always two cups on my table.

Welcome to TeaChat! I'm sure you'll be able to learn tons about black tea here. You might end up trying greens and oolongs as well, as the majority of our readers seem to drink them more than anything else!

Adagio will ship to the Vatican City and Kuwait but not Australia. :P

Well, that's just not fair

I wonder if Adagio Europe will be more obliging?

Drat. They aren't.

Has Adagio given a reason for not shipping to Australia? It's not exactly a rogue state...

The main teas in Australia are black and english breakfast in my experience.
Sounds like they've stuck to their British roots, much like a lot of Americans, I do believe.

And, Adagio Europe! I had no idea that existed!

Welcome, Joel, 25 y/o, 15 miles outside of NYC, US here! Welcome to the wide world of tea.

My favorite Blacks are good Keemun, Yunnan Gold, and Assam. A good tea is hard to find, but well worth it. Not sure about Australian Vendors but they must be out there.
