How unique is the ingenuiTEA?
I was just given a tea catalog by a friend from another tea company (don't worry there prices are too high compared to Adagio for me to even consider ordering from them) and they have type of tea pot which appears to be a clone of the ingenuiTEA. It even offers the same size choices as the ingenuiTEA does, although it does not appear to have the new features that the new and improved ingenuiTEA now has. Anyway, I was previously under the impression that the ingenuiTEA was developed by Adagio, is this the case or not?

The ingenuiTEA teapot is made by a third-party that we work with. We do not have an exclusive arrangement on this item, but because of the very aggressive price we charge for this item, there are only a small handful of other companies that still carry these.
The newer model however was designed by Adagio, and is thus exclusively ours.
