Yesterday's TeaDay poll revealed that a lot of TeaChatters like to be on their computers while sipping tea. You can still vote and discuss this topic.
Welcome EVERYONE to teaDay! Shall we brew and share what is in our cups today...all day...of course?
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic...been there and done that...but one thing I notice about TeaChatters...nothing is static...always changing. Plus we have a lot of newbies! 
So, what is your favorite brewing vessel? Share something about your absolute favorite if you feel so inclined.
I am looking forward to sharing TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up, refill, repeat...often.

Yes, do enlighten us...
Glass for me. It's the most concenient kind of vessel, and it makes it easier to judge the tint of the SN - important for subsequent steepings, when I go more by the apparent strength of the tea than time.

My kyusu
broke so I am back to using my speed vessel, ingenuiTea. I have a really cool 3-piece cup I got at whole foods that I use that has a ceramic brew basket inside a 6- or 8-oz cup with a lid. Then I have a ceramic teapot for Pu Ehr.
Happily beginning my first day of unemployment!

My white ceramic plain very first "brown betty style" teapot.
Barry's Gold in the pot this morning.
We're heading out of town for a couple days (but I'm taking my laptop). I have a tiny pot and handful of emergency teabags packed. There is a TeaSmith store where I'm headed, so I'll drop by and explore a bit. I'm hoping they have pu-ehr by the cup so I can taste it. Anyone been there or have an opinion of TeaSmith?
Himself has already told me I am NOT to buy another teapot. But those Beehouse pots are just so darn cute...

Classic English style china is my favorite for making tea
(another no big surprise). Depends on the amount of tea I'm making as to which teapot I use. I've also enjoyed the glass teapot from Adagio.
Had OBO#8 w/bfast this morning. I like blending the OBO w/Oolong #8 better than #40. There's a subtle difference between the two flavors & the orange seems to come out more when mixed w/#8.

I voted 'other' because I have several and I like them all for their particular role. (Very Taoist thing to say, I suppose). If the vessel functions well for what it was designed to do then it brings joy to my tea experience. I might have a more favorite within a particular category (a yixing whose design is more artistically pleasing or a gaiwan which has a design a prefer) - but as to their function, if they function well for each particular type of brewing situation then I love it (because it makes me tea!).
Some of this may come from the fact that I (unlike so many others) do not have a favorite type of tea - ergo, it is unlikely I would favor a vessel for a particular type of tea.
IN MY CUP: this morning (which has started, literally, with a flat tire that must be dealt with) I am having some Harney and Sons Holiday Tea (acquired from the passbox) which was prepared in my PersonliTEA.
