New TriniTEA design?

Postby klemptor » Jan 15th, '06, 23:08

Chris, Ilya:

What's the word on the TriniTEA v2.0? Is this in the "idea" stage, or has it progressed? I'm thinking of picking one up but I'm not sure if I should wait.

Thanks!
Kate

I think we are about 3-4 months from having the new version.

So, I just bought one and love it. What could the new one have on it to make it better? If I just HAVE to have the new one I could give this one to my parents- they have never experienced loose teas. Maybe it will get them hooked on teas also.

Ilya - thanks! :)

Garden Gal - the new one will be able to handle greens and whites - it'll have a variable temperature setting. There may be other improvements that I'm unaware of, but that's the big one for me.

OK, that probably would make me gift the one I have onto someone else and buy a new one. I add the water now and MOST the time I remember but if I've been doing herbals or blacks then go to a green, I always forget at least 3x time a wk. Not too mention the - did I put too much water in there, am I going to overflow- thoughts going on. I do love it though- definitely a great investment.
