Tea Podcasts

Postby themadhatter444 » Jun 24th, '08, 12:58

Hi there,

I've recently started recording some video reviews for Adagio's contest. My interest has grown a little more than I thought, so I thought I might *consider* taking a crack at doing some sort of Tea Podcast. I've looked for things like this to watch/listen to, but I have yet to find anything that fills the niche.

Do you know of anything like this? I know Adagio did a "TeaCast" a few months ago, but have ceased taping anything for awhile. What sort of things would you be interested in seeing?

Also, any feedback on my current videos before I dump more time into something like this?

Thanks guys. Cheers!

so i just find the video ( a part of it), this is on Chris Cason's blog (the tea sommelier).

this is about how to infuse tea into liquors.
Since this was on viddler, i saw an other video about how to make tea, under the name of tavalontea

I hadn't seen that! Chris is ex-Adagio and has big hair. His tea-cocktail seminars are popping up all over the place. I'll have to get myself to one sooner or later.

I have had some contact with some peeps from across the pond, Richard Henry and Joseph Ribbons, who host 'The Tea Tallk'. You can find their podcast under 'Society and Culture' in the 'Podcasts' section of iTunes.

The Tea Talk podcast

Postby theteatalk » Sep 19th, '08, 08:37

hi there,

time for a bit of selfish plugging, but you know it makes sense...

We're the tea talk, an almost bi-weekly talk show where me (Joe Ribbons) and my good tea drinking pal Richard Henry have a laugh and share it with the world.

Why would this appeal to you?

Well, our sponsors are non other, than the fantastic Adagio!

Each week we review a tea that we have in our possession, and enjoy it throughout the show.

I must point out at this stage that the podcast is not solely about tea, and it revolves more around us two discussing what's on our minds at the moment, things we've seen, heard and so on.

1 in 10 people like it... AND THAT PERSON COULD BE YOU!

You can find us @ http://www.theteatalk.com
You can download us immediately and subscribe on iTunes
And you can get in contact with us using our email comments@theteatalk.com

enjoy!

I have been watching the Passage to Peace podcast. The interviews with James Norwood Pratt have been very enjoyable. I'd watch a podcast featuring nothing but that guy.

Does this podcast seem broken to you right now? iTunes complains about it not being a valid podcast URL, but the website shows two new episodes.

Tea Podcasts

Postby teaclubformen » Feb 1st, '09, 00:12

We do a weekly tea review show on our site, Tea Club For Men. The first episode we reviewed Peppermint . Then we reviewed some awesome Chamomile. And in future episodes, we'll be reviewing other teas, showing you how to brew teas, and talk a bit about blends.

Please check it out and let us know what you think!

I like the podcast. Let me jump directly into my feedback:

1. I realize you are only 2 episodes deep, but you may want to review an actual tea rather than an herbal.
2. You may want to consider using mics since the audio is a bit washed out.
3. I would recommend a different background. Something more lively.
4. Your website seems to have a problem with the code that pulls in the latest episode of Adagio TeaV rather than the ones you intend to show.
5. Perhaps I missed it, but you may want to write a little about yourselves on your site.
