Looks like Adagio will be footing the bill for 30 TeaVacations to JAPAN which was by far the top vote getter yesterday. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Welcome one and all to TeaDay. Shall we brew and share what is in our cup's today, all day YES
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic, it is obviously Summertime for I guess all of us. How many teas do you have on an average day during the Summer, is it more or less than colder months?
I am looking forward to sharing TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up!

Panyong Congou Black
Panyong = Tanyang = (坦洋) a Fu'an village famous for its hongcha.
Congou = hong cha (corruption of Gong Fu)
Babelcarp = The next best thing to being Chinese. I have never met Lew Perin, but he is the closest thing to a TeaSaint that I can imagine.
The rose is Penelope and I’m not going to bore you with that story again. The cup is just to show you I have some girly cups even if they aren’t as nice as Henley’s and Geekgirl’s. It says Royal Vale on the bottom.

Midnight discount flowers & gifts? That's what we all like about you, Salsero. You live on the edge!Salsero wrote: The rose is Penelope
Not sure I fully understood the question, but that's OK. It's 6:33 a.m. and we are doing the "dry run" before school starts tomorrow (thank goodness). Everyone is awake, fed and contemplating getting dressed.
I usually drink 1 or 2 different teas during the day. Don't think winter is any different, but my tastes and work situation have changed (drastically). I have been icing down some black tea from tea bags! I've got 1.0 drinking iced tea during the day. My evil plan is to slowly switch him to some iced yunan gold, then gunpowder or something.
happy tuesday to all.

I think that the summer we have longer days and with the humidity we drink more
and if including both hot/cold of course way more.. I don't drink anything else
gave up soda and limit coffee to once a day if needed
beautiful photo as usual Sal! I think I have a cup like that one... looks awful familiar!
Off to make some Yunnan Jig this morning

I voted for one tea per day and less in the summer. I usually dont drink more than one tea in a day, but if I do its always in the winter, Cold and tea just go together.
No tea for me today or probably the rest of the week, headed to get teeth pulled.
Anyway everyone have a great tea day and put a cup down for me!

I drink about the same, summer and winter.
Usually about 3 different teas a day sometimes more.
Yunnan Gold in my cup this morning.
Have a nice day everyone!

No discount this time. Penelope is my own progeny.augie wrote: Midnight discount flowers & gifts?

I am always amazed how you mothers with young ones manage to find time to post a note here in TeaDay, given how hectic things can get. Thanks.
You used to have a cup like that.soapy wrote: I think I have a cup like that one... looks awful familiar!
BTW, I've always wondered, is South Shore the south shore of Lake Michigan?
Let us know how it went and how you're doing.shogun89 wrote: headed to get teeth pulled.
I couldn't vote because I have the same all the time: two or three teas. though usually at least 10 steeps from those leaves. Amazing difference so far as Shogun89 pointed out: with him at one per day and Omegapd drinking a bathtub a day.
Good poll, Chip, thanks!
So far haven't gotten around to my first cup yet.

I've been drinking the same amount of tea as I did during other seasons. Usually 2-3. However, more iced/chilled than hot...
This morning, I enjoyed a nice mug of a jasmine green tea from New Mexico & Co., which is getting down to the bottom of the bag...
Been suffering terribly from allergies/sinus/asthma (not sure which, pick your choice) and wishing hot tea would help clear things up... At least the nice mug of foxtrot last night put me to sleep! I know this is off topic, but if anyone has any simple home remedies--involving tea or not--please share.
