Am I reading this wrong, or did Scott say that the mini bricks are different than the cakes?
:?:

He said that they are the same "stuff", but might have turned out (/aged) slightly differently because the bricks are smaller (less compression probably, more exposure, possibly age quicker?)...
Anyway, that's for the 07 bricks vs. 07 cakes... These new ones are 08 cakes. I'm not sure if they're from a new harvest, or just a new production of the same old leaves.

I'm back from surgery and feeling fine. :D The cakes are the same but just from 2008 harvest instead, I think. I am putting one on my list! I want the whole basket but it is so expensive!

No kidding! It is truly a thing to behold. Especially with that "meditation" character, how cool is that?!
But really.... $100... think of how much !@#$ good tea that's going to be. Or already is. sheesh. You could drink that stuff all day every day, at $0.50/day.
Ok, now hopefully nobody buys it all before I save up some more tea dough. :D

i don't think $100 is much. you are getting a kilo of lao bang zhan wild arbor, this year's spring. a night out with your mates is more than that and then you p*ss it down the drain! :D

i like having 4 x 250 grams packages. neat and tidy. that lovely basket is perfect for storing it somewhere to age. hide it, lock it, enjoy it when you are proper old like.

I wonder if the basket has a lid? I will probably end up just getting 2 cakes.
