why doesn't Adagio sell their canisters? blank labels?
I like they way they stack over my stove/cabinets... I'd love to see them for sale maybe a slightly less rounded lid they'd be perfect and could stack more...

The whole time I've been here, Adagio has not sold their tins separately. However, if you look through some old posts, you might find that they originally did, but discontinued the practice because of many complaints of the tins (and then the replacements) arriving dented. Filled tins don't dent as easily...and they come with tea!

If you're very keen on canisters and don't want the hard work of working your way through drinking full ones... Adagio does have some less expensive teas. You could always buy a 4 oz tin of Cherry Green at $6, for example, or almost any of of the rooibos or flavoured teas. What you do with the tea inside is your business and no one else's

I should've known I'd get all you wanting me to send you my tea...

I have bought some teas from other companies and they didn't come in tins bags only. I'm guess cheaper shipping costs?
and with all my teas I had to use a small rubbermaid tote to store them all now es especially since I bought all the samplers from Adagio and I was going top just dump a few into larger canisters and make some interesting new blends...

Mary I thought they use to sell them wondered why they stopped ....

There are a lot of other places to buy tins.
Rishi Tea, Red Blossom, Upton come to mind.

Rishi's tins are great, I would definitely recommend the plain black ones. Upton's small tins are good too; you get a good deal if you buy them in bulk.

The Red Blossom tins are best for yancha (or whatever twisted oolong), because they are freaking huge. Rishi twist lid tins are great for 100g of green tea.

I have a few empty tins but all smaller ones and lots of the samples size

I want to store the cakes or break up the opened pur cakes in something a little bigger

I tend to find creative ways to reuse my tins - haven't thrown one out yet. But, I do currently have 4 of the small tins (not the sample tins) that are just sitting around....
