Hi. I'm not sure if this belongs in this thread since Liu An is strictly not Pu-erh, but I've been eying this for a while and wanted to ask if anyone had any experience with this tea?

I dont know much about that stuff, looks very similar to ripe pu. Looks pretty good, although you might even be better off just getting some shu, its cheaper.tsverrir wrote:Hi. I think this is the perfect place to pose your question. I would also like to know how Scott's 1999 basket is.
I have had Jim's 2005 offering and not been very impressed. I am putting it down for long term aging, hoping it will emerge as something wonderful. Bears (who has infinitely more experience than I with Liu An) liked Jim's more than I did.

I have not tried theses but have had a fair amount of experience with other shu. Almost all shu tastes very similar to each other so though it may seem cheap I bet you will like it. I will probably purchase 1 myself. Alot of tea at a great price.tsverrir wrote:Have you tried these? If so, how did you find it?shogun89 wrote:take a look at these
