Monday TeaDay 9/29/08 Tea preference and gender bias?

by Chip » Sep 28th, '08, 20:05

Welcome to TeaDay, TeaMales and TeaFemales. I hope we can all share what is in our cups today, all day today. Shall we get brewing?

Yesterday, TeaChatters displayed a decidedly sweet or chocolate TeaTooth. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.

Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic is again about gender bias and tea tastes. Today, share your favorite type (black, oolong, etc) and your gender. And what is it about your favorite type of tea that makes it your ... favorite?

I am looking forward to sharing TeaDay with everyone without gender bias! :D Bottoms up.

Green of course, which doesn't mean I don't appreciate other teas.

Keemun Mao Feng Imperial with my breakfast.

As always its a tought choice, but my favorite is Japanese greens, with Fujian oolong as a close second.

Drinking some Fujian Zhen Qu courtesy of Sal.

 2 female greens and 3 male greens so far. Maybe there is just a green bias for the night owls.

Male and green, although oolong is a close second (broken record so far). I will answer why when I am more awake.

Choosing a favorite is rather difficult. I'm going to have to put my vote down for male and Pu-erh though.

Currently drinking iced blackberry tea while covered in stain. Doing some touchups to my new pumidor and its starting to look nice.

I did vote for oolong although I do drink more of shou. Shou is my daily drink, but when I sit down to enjoy a good cup of tea I prefer oolong.

In my cup this morning some yunnan golden tips I just got in the mail. Delicious...

Male and I drink white tea, hot, most of the day. I do love black teas, but I'm in a "white" phase now!! Pai Mu Tan in the cup at the desk, this morning. :D

Yesterday I was working on some dajeeling.

At this point I really don't know if I love herbal teas or green teas more. I erred on herbal but it's painfully close and I hardly limit myself to them.

That being said, today I'm enjoying iced white cucumber. ;)
