Hey everybody, I've been following teachat for a while but have only recently been approved to post and whatnot. I'm an absolute tea fanatic living in Wisconsin...it can get lonely up here for tea drinkers. I've been living in this state for my whole life and I have yet to meet a single person who even knows that there's a difference between teas you buy at WalMart and teas you buy from a quality source.
That said, I'm searching the market for gunpowder green, matcha, dragonwell, and good puerh. Does anybody have any recommendations as to where I should be buying? I went to Japan a couple years back and have been having a hard time finding tea that measures up here in America. If anybody could point me in the direction of the best sources, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome. I think you will find that some of the best Japanese green tea in the world can be had by someone in WI with an internet connection!

Welcome.
I think you should look into ordering straight from China (or Japan if that's what you prefer).
Many here on the forum are ordering from Yunnan sourcing or Dragon tea house on ebay. Although there are many more vendors, these are good places to start with decent quality and pricing.
Just remember to drop a hint if you get something really good (or nasty).
