Finally a nice Fuhai is available

by Fatman2 » Oct 15th, '08, 09:53

Finally, a nice affordable and very tasty ripe new puerh is on sale. As a sheng puerh drinker, I do not have much patience or taste for ripe puerh. Until I chanced upon this fuhai big leave cake. It is smooth and sweet for a brand new cake. The tea soup is clear and very nice reddish color. In all a very good drink it all up tea.

Check it out. YSLL is now carrying it. Finally.

Btw, I do not like all the other fuhai that i have had the chance to taste and I still will not drink ripe puerh on a regular basis. hehe

That's a pretty powerful recommendation, Fatman! Thanks for letting us know.

Haha. I was surprised myself. Most of the ripe stuff taste like compost. This one is very pleasant. Just bought some to drink now. :)

I am interested in YSL's raw Fuhai 2000 (I came over here to see if anyone else was curious about it). It looks like no one has bought any yet... I wonder if it's any good.

The sample arrived today and I'm trying it now. I really like this one as well. Very smooth and easy to drink with a nice touch of sweetness. The aftertaste is making my mouth water. Thanks again for the sample. I really appreciate it.

My sample also arrived today (now yesterday) but I haven't had time to get to it yet. I will have some tomorrow night.. err, now tonight, I guess. Such a generous sample! Thanks, Seb, for the chance to try it.

The dry leaf has a great smell, sort of spicy and not a typical shu puerh smell.
