Added a few items to my list :)

I figure if I can save up a couple bucks a week I could pick up a few items off my list ever month or 2.

Yeah I agree with the saving up method but in the case of shipping my belfief is go big or dont go at all. So save up for a year, then when the 2009 stuff comes in. .. . . hit it hard!

Haha yea thats why I'm going to try to break the bank a bit before the new year to pick up atleast a good amount of the more desirable items on my list before the prices go up. Theres always christmas too :)

What exactly is puerh "season"? What I mean by that is when do the new year's cakes usually start hitting the markets?

I don't see any Jingmai in the Awazon section! Not the expensive and beautiful cake or the more reasonably priced brick. How can this oversight have occurred?

Sal I'll have to look through with your suggestion of them and add some to my list :) I love the look of that cake and wish I could try a sample of it, but it was a bit out of my price range for a single cake. On the other hand though, the much more economical brick will deff be on my next order from them.

~Awazon~
2006 Gold Medal Wild Ancient Tea Tree Raw Pu-erh 400g $14.99
I own this one. A lot of stems, but not a bad cake. Worth the price anyways.

2007 Guanzizai Yiwu Arbor Raw Pu-erh Tea Cake 400g Puer $15.99
I thought this was a very nice cake. Worth the purchase

~Dragon Tea House~
Mengku Holy Charm Pu-erh Tea 2008 400g Raw $13.99
Same as the Sage Verse from Yunnan Sourcing. Wasn't a big fan. Light on flavor and high on bitter. Never know how it will be in the future though.
Mengku Old Tree Green Cake 2008 400g Raw $11.99
Kinda boring. For the price its ok, but myself, I'd go with something else.

~Yunnan Sourcing~
2008 Guoyan "Deep Mountain, Old Tree" Raw Pu-erh tea $19.00
Similar feel as the Queen of Yi Wu cake. I did enjoy this one.
2008 Guoyan "Queen of Yi Wu" Premium Raw Pu-erh tea $20.00
Solid buy.
2008 Mengku "Old Tree, Green Cake" Raw Pu-erh * 400g $12.00
Already discussed above

Drive-by reviews. Nice!

I think the only thing on both those lists that I have tried is the Mengku Old Tree green cake and I agree with Trioxin.

I lack the confidence to make in depth reviews. So much easier just to say it sucks.

Well, it saves us all a lot of time! Sometimes I just groan when I see reviews as long as mine tend to be ...

FYI the brick versions of the Awazon jinmai and manjing are plantation pu's. thats why they are so much cheaper.
