Powdered Rooibos?

Postby JM » Nov 17th, '08, 19:40

They do it with Green tea leaves, why not Rooibos?

Anyone try it in powdered form?

I'm going to try it to make it...

That sounds interesting. It is small enough but it just needs to be ground a bit.

What method/tool do you use to grind your tea? I've tried powdering tea, but I don't think I do it fine enough since the powder always seems to just sink to the bottom of the cup.

I've been looking for a mortar and pestle, just wanting to try it as an experiment, but haven't been able to find it.

You can get a decent Mortar/pestil at pretty much any Supermercado.

I can't remember where it was, but someone posted a link of a little tool that was designed specifically for grinding tea up. It would probably work wonders with rooibos.
