Earl Grey Bravo

by teachat » Jun 7th, '05, 14:38

Never bought a tea from Adagio, but I'm considering purchasing a tin of the Earl Grey. I'm a big fan of Twinings Earl Grey, loose leaf of course, and was just wondering how Adagio's stands up to it. While I enjoy Twinings, I'm looking for something a bit more fresh with more bergamot, and hopefully a little less dust. Any input is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Josh--

Thanks for the post.

Let's put it this way: If Adagio's Earl Grey were to fight Twinings', it would be a first-round knockout for Adagio.

The taste is much fuller and brighter, the leaf size much larger.

Hope you'll give it a shot and see for yourself.

Enjoy,

Wow..bravo, indeed. Until I received my order I had no idea tea could taste so good. Not only was the Earl Grey amazing, but the others were equally as good if not more so. I especially enjoyed how the Darjeeling had an almost grape taste to it, sort of like a wine. You have converted another, Adagio!
