Yes that would be very good. I have a bunch of stuff saved in my cart on pu-shop waiting to be purchased and tried :)

Unfortunately, I've never purchased from them, so we need somebody to step up to the plate (Salsero).

Aaargh, work! I could never do such a beautiful job as you have with this thread. So, I guess I am supposed to sort of imitate what you have done with some drop dead gorgeous photos, great design, and persistence. You know we already have several great threads about the tasting sets from Jim.

Well, I do have a number of teas from Puerhshop and I am very enthusiastic about some of them ... so I guess I could start some sort of ruckus.

Right now, however, I am totally drugged out on this 2008 Lao Ban Zhang & Man'E sample from Hai Lang Hao. Think: ginger ale, new leather, wood, smoke, camphor. There is not fruit here, no mushroom, little sweetness. It's about pungent aromatics and it can be astringent … not a nice tea at all. Occasionally a little oily on the lips, but not enough, not heavy enough in the mouth. This is a bad boy, and I refuse to pay $56 for a 2008 cake!

But for all that, here I am in the 11th inning thinking that in months or maybe a year or more no other tea has so much reminded me of what I crave in every puerh cup I drink. Dang, this stuff sneaks up on you!

That would be quite an interesting feature. What other sites have such a tool?

Many new reviews have been added to the front page by multiple contributors, and will be updated on a daily basis. Keep checking back. And if you see a review on this site that you think should be included, please let me know where its hiding and I'll make sure to add it.

Prices are up on quite a few items and not as attractive anymore. Exchange rate is not as good either. Buyers are getting hit twice! So, definitely no more buying from me for a while until the global economy starts to recover.

Actually, in the case of Yunnan Sourcing, Scott prices his stock in US dollars, I believe for the entire year. He is taking the hit on any less preferential exchange rate fluctuations to the yuan.

In the extremely off chance that the dollar would appreciate significantly against the yuan, it would increase his profit margin as yuan-valued assets would be worth fewer dollars. I don't think you need to worry about this any time soon.

Can you guys point to any examples? I'm not seeing any price hikes for Menghai stuff.

Also, I'm starting a cold so I am having trouble tasting anything. There's going to be a delay on the rest of the Peacock series.

Has anyone used the microsost live search cashback on some of the more expensive cakes? Right now the discount is 25%.
Just curious if some of the 80 cakes were more attractive at 60 dollars.
