Hi Phantom! Are you a PotO phan by any chance? What is your favorite type of tea?
Although my neighbors are all barbarians,
And you, you are a thousand miles away,
There are always two cups on my table.

Whats a PotO phan?

I've always drank whatever cup of tea that was put in front of me. But if I had to pick one, I'd say I'm partial to green tea. To be honest though I've never brewed a cup of loose leaf.

I've only recently began doing a massive amount of research on brewing tea because I decided to buy some green tea for my new girlfriend for Christmas. It kind of started with my student counselor who was raving about some green tea he got from hibiki-an. Later that day I was watching the Christmas Episode of The Office season two when Jim gives Pam a teapot at the present exchange. Thats when I remember my girlfriend likes green tea and well you do the math.

Anyways I'm getting 2x teapots and 2x teacups from this tokoname dealer/site I found while browsing. I'm getting 2x teapot#879, teacup#1224, and #1225. Atm I'm trying to decide on where/what kind of sencha to get.

So thats the story. :o

Hehe, that's probably the most dangerous gift to give :)

My gf at the time was starting to drink green tea (in tea bags) instead of coffee. So I decided one day that I'd get her some good loose leaf stuff. I went to a vendor site and looked at the descriptions, and it all sounded so good that I thought I'd grab a couple things for myself as well. About 4 hours later I realized that I had WAY more than I thought reasonable (at the time.. now it's more like my minimum) and it just kinda spiraled out of control from there. :D
