Hello! ^_^

by hyunjeehale » Dec 9th, '08, 14:26

I am a new member to Adagio teas. I have been a tea consumer ever since I can remember. My mother is Korean so I grew up drinking natural whole leaf teas. It has been difficult trying to find the perfect tea. I just ordered a huge batch of samples from Adagio (about 20 or so to be exact) to try! I am so excited and can not wait to get them in. So many of the teas look so good that I had to try pretty much all the ones I found that I thought I would like. I prefer my tea to be a little bitter and strong. I like how on Adagio they show you pictures of what the tea looks like and give a detailed description of the aroma, taste and origin of the tea. Never have I found such a detailed site before. I have ordered previously from a different tea site, but believe I am now going to be converted. I will let you know as soon as I get my tea in and which ones I like!
One of the few things that can't be recycled is wasted time 0(^_^)0

Welcome hyunjeehale to TeaChat. I have some fond memories of dear friends, the mom is Korean, the father is Caucasian, the daughter is obviously, half Korean (and amazingly beautiful). I remember drinking tea and the food and times shared.

I give tea as gifts to them often.

The daughter, Priscilla Ahn is a musician and on tour in Japan, then Korea. Check her out here if interested. Priscilla Ahn

Please visit us on TeaDay and share what is in your cup. BTW, I hope you ordered some sencha, a little bitter (actually astringent) and strong. I think you would like it. I had the Sencha Premier this morning, quite good!
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

Chip, what a strange coincidence. I had never heard of Priscilla Ahn until yesterday when I heard a track by her on an iTunes Christmas station singing a beautiful rendition of Silent night. It's awesome that you know her. I'm planning on getting some of her music. But that's off the subject here!

Hi hyunjeehale! Glad you're here on TeaChat!
