HEY!

by AlexG » Dec 21st, '08, 07:19

Whats up everyone,

I am AlexG, 29. I am originally from Russia so all we do is drink tea and vodka. So, I have been drinking tea since I can remember but the type of tea I've been drinking thats another matter. Only recently I started to learn about tea.

I love black and green teas. But I want to try them all.

If you guys have any suggestions of what I should try, what my next learning step should be in tea land.

I want to meet everyone here so we can all drink tea, maybe we can have some vodka too.

Thanks.

Thanks Olivierco,

Is Adagio a tea maker? Do they just sell tea? I see there is a whole adagio section of the forums, are they considered top of the tea quality?

They just sell tea. The teas I got from them are of good quality with a very good quality vs price ratio. They have a broad offer which is adequate if you want to try new kinds of tea.

Welcome, Alex!

Adagio sells sample sized tins of almost all its teas. This makes it easier to try out new teas without spending a lot of money. When I started trying Adagio's teas, I selected teas that (1) were recommended by fellow TeaChat members, or (2) were given higher ratings by Adagio consumers. I found it very helpful in exploring tea types and discovering which ones taste best to me.

I don't know where you live now, so you should know that there are two tea sites: Adagio North America (based in the U.S.A.) and Adagio Europe (based in the United Kingdom). The selection from Adagio in the U.S.A. is more extensive.

Welcome, Alex!

What kind of tea do you like the best? Blacks, flavored blacks, oolongs, greens, whites, or pu? Adagio's little sampler tins are a great place to start, and not very expensive.

Welcome to TeaChat Alex. Think green!!!
:D
Adagio is a direct source supplier of tea, meaning they do not deal with many middle men and go direct to country of origin for sourcing teas.
