No resolutions here. Come to think of it, I don't even think of it.

I got this little teapot which doesn't have strainer but a straight hole toward the spout. It has very good structure and pours water very well. But I tried big leaved oolong with it and it didn't work well. Then I thought, *maybe* it's meant to be for jasmine green. So I am having jasmine green with it now :D

I am having jasmine green with petals and the flowers block the straight hole from time to time. But it seems that only flowers cause the trouble, not the small green tea leaves. So next time I will try jasmine green without petal in the pot :D

(the pot was a bit dirty when photo was taken. i cleaned it already :P )

I resolve myself to reconnect and awaken. But no; no real resolutions as yet. New Year Resolutions are fundamentally flawed in my opinion.

From a religious point of view: "Never let a devil know you're going to turn over a new leaf."

From a personal point of view: "Doing anything consistently for an entire year is not natural and also not likely."

From a common sense point of view: "Reform is needed only by the morally bankrupt people who will not seek it." And I will not seek it. :D

But nothing has really occurred to me either...unless you count the aforementioned: "To drink more tea."

I resolve not to misinterpret arbitrary astronomical benchmarks as profound events that require drastic changes in behavior.

I suppose yes, I always have some resolutions... some have been more successful than others. I think it's only human nature to wish to be a better person, live a better life, be healthier, more financially responsible, contribute something to the world of someone in need, and generally see yourself surpassed in the coming year. Self-actualization and all that jazz.

In my cup... Just Peachy signature blend (white peach and oolong peach). My favorite peach tea.

***This organic blend is earthy & spicy, with a fragrant aroma & smooth flavor to captivate the senses. Naturally sweetened in the Kentucky sunshine & infused with natural energy. Equally delicious when served piping hot or crisply chilled.***

Got up very late, so I'm starting the day with a nice Boazhong.
I need to add lots of Vit C to kick this cold.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

No resolutions here.

Currently having some Adagio white monkey. Not sure how I feel about this one. Not a lot of flavor, but what little there is is pleasant.

Another cloudy rainy day here, hard to even roll out of bed.

One resolution would be to get ahead on TeaDay polls/topics or at least be able to do them earlier.

Still thinking beyond this one.

Started the day with Fukamushi Supreme from O-Cha. Sweetie as always slurped it up. Koi was walking across the tea tray and just being her normal bad self much to my chagrin. Lily, Gandalf, Ceylon, and Honi Belle were just being curious.

Adagio Fujian Baroque was next and is one of my fave blacks right now.

It's not nice to pick on the oolong queen when she is sick.

Brewing a second round of my Baozhong. Had some cranberry
juice in between. The worse part of being sick is wasting the
day off.

grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I'm diabetic and fell off the wagon over the holidays - so my "resolution" is to get my diet back under control! :D

Had a cup of decaf chai in the evening.

I have two resolutions for the new year. The first is to move out of my parents' house. The second is to start planning my wedding. We haven't even set the date yet beyond fall 2010, so there is a lot of work that has to get done in the upcoming year. It should be fun at least.

I never make resolutions.

In all the commotion of my sister's departure, and my birthday celebrations, I only managed a few cups of Rishi's organic Wuyi after my morning Irish Breakfast. Such a sad state of affairs!
