What a wonderful item! Currently, both my home and office run on clean, untreated well water that makes a beautiful cup, but I see myself moving into the city soon, so I will definitely have to buy one of those gadgets for the icky chorline water.

Got my wish! Thanks to some special friends

I just started using it last evening, so it is a little early to share anything. I will be looking for a substantial reduction in scale formation in my teaware. This is going to take a week to discern.

Less quantitative things like better tasting tea or water ... again, time will tell.

which GraviTea has to do with water, not with Tea...

Having used the graviTea now constantly for 6 days, I am happy to report that there is virtually no scale in my utilTea, nor on the glass teaware that I use all the time. I think I can attest it does cut dramatically back on scale.

I have a well, so cannot comment on the chlorine eliminating abiliTea, nor am I prepared to say that it improves taste since I have had great TeaDays almost everyday before and after using.

But I will save a $fortune$ on vinegar and time cleaning/removing scale which is a chore I never did care for.

Wow, 16 days and NO SCALE anywhere. I never realized how much I did not like descaling everything at least once a week til I did not have to do it. I expect this will also preserve the natural finish of the interior of my kyusu-s.

Does the GraviTEA do something differently from my Brita filter? I have never had much of a scale problem, but I guess I would be interested in improved flavor.

Jesus Chip, scales once a week?! You DEFINITELY needed a water filter!

Sal, other than marketing mumbo jumbo, they're the same thing. Just make sure you're changing your filter often enough. And Chip, I expect you'll have to change yours twice as often!
