Yiwu leaves
Is it just me or do Yiwu leaves smell the best after brewing? Clearly I do not have enough experience with other mountains but.....they stand out with amazing savory and floral notes compared to my other cakes.

Here is cut from a small list of the old and new tea mountains we just wrote.
Mansa Mountain (Yiwu Mountain): Large-leafed trees. Tastes a little bitter, Strong aroma, smells like honey plum and orchid. It’s the most famous tea mountain since ancient.
I also really love Yiwu and it is known for it strong great aroma. I know that when the Chinese, Jinghong, Xishuangbanna governments wanted to do a special tea for the 50 year anniversary of Xishuangbanna they chose mostly Yiwu tea leaves for the bricks. I think many people agree it is great.

+1 to what thanks said.
Now, everyone please chime in about how getting authentic YiWu leaves is impossible because of certain factors, and how vendors blah blah blah blah or how the government bought all the YiWu supply in 2003 so nothing from that year is authentic, etc. Really, we believe you just like we believe all the vendors on the internet. Really.

I cut a small part from the leaf's site:nada wrote:Mansa is different from Yiwu, about 20km further northMansa Mountain (Yiwu Mountain)
"Xishuangbanna Yiwu tea growing area
The Yiwu tea growing area is located in the Yiwu Township of Mengla County. The greater Yiwu region encompasses the four townships of Mansa, Mahei, Yitian and Manluo. In ancient times, local ethnic Bulang people were the primary growers of tea."
I think if I remember correctly, the Mansa is the older region and than it grew to include other areas as the mansa region stoped producing so much.
