Thanks for the article Wes. When talking about the hair, when they said "the other end" do they mean the "downstairs department"?
Seems to me the rule still stands. . . Everything in moderation.

Haha I'm not sure why people decided they *must* be pubes. Could be arm hair, leg hair, beard, chest, back, etc.

That's why I only drink grain alcohol and tea brewed in rain water.

A couple of days ago I founded one of "those" in a YPH sample, and I didn´t care where it comes from .... it´s disgusting anyway.

I have found multiples of "these" hairs and wondered, Do the Chinese really have hair like this. . . Looks kinda like. . . Either way its pretty nasty, but our boiling water takes care of it.

One thing not mentioned in the article... we have a lot of other chemical-tainted products coming out of China... is anybody policing the tea industry? I shudder to think what could be lurking in the tea. And we're ingesting this stuff.

I have to admit that thought sometimes makes me want to abandon pu-erh all together and stick w/ organic products from Japan :D

Me too, but unfortunately I really like pu-erh. I'm sipping an organic puerh right now, fitting since I am writing a research paper on Organic farming.

I liked the guys comment about the problem of stabbing yourself and bleeding all over your pu-erh cake/brick.
Good tea drinking,
Steve

All I can say is, "avoid super wet-stored and Shu"..

Anyone who's seen the environment of Shu factories might assume that it's not the best place to produce health-related products. Not only that, but also sterilizers are done to rid of microbes after. And bad effect exists all over, in fermented products but that's not the reason we should abandon all fermented products. Bad effect exists in all over the foods, weeks ago British research discovered drinking a wine daily might severly lead to causing cancer..but wine's been consumed in West for thousands of yrs.

Examing microbe studies might be headaching,
I wonder if they seperated water-soluble microbe/not or what kind of samples of Puerh did they use..

I remember from Zhou Hong Jie 周紅杰's book, who's no.1 authority on micro-biological research, says those germs on Puerh are ignorable because other useful ones such as saccharomyces functions as 'killer yeast'..

I'm dumb on this kind of topic, and like everybody else I agree more studies should be done...
