Museum teapot and warmers

by teachat » Jun 8th, '05, 18:54

I love tea and I am looking for a new teapot. I like the look of the museum teapot, but I also like to use warmers to keep my tea warm ( and because I like the way it looks!). Does anyone here know if the same tea warmer that fits the Mikado also fits the museum teapot?

Alexi,

The base of the Mikado and Museum teapots have similar diameter. So the same warmer should work eqully well in both cases.

GLASS Saucers? Does anyone know where you can buy glass saucers to put under the "jena 7.4oz Tea Glasses". I was reared always putting my teaspoon on the saucer and cannot find any glass saucers. Help?

I have had a museum teapot and warmer for over 20 years. Recently I broke the glass top and ordered a replacement piece from Adagio -- I was delighted that they carried it. However, when I received the piece it was larger than my original and just a little too big to fit in the infuser or teapot and a little too small to fit over the edge of the infuser or teapot. Its like I need the edge to be either 1/4" smaller or larger. Does anyone know of anywhere I could get a replacement lid to fit? thanks.
