Victoria: Love the simplicity of those bodum cups. They're nice. And look at your furniture -- where's the dang dust, sister?

MMMMMMMMMMMM yes, that is one of the best TQY ever, if not the best.

And Augie - I made sure to wipe the table first.
I'm good, but I spend more time here than dusting. ;o)

Buzz: The white cup: Is it smooth to drink from? Looks like frosting! Cool Fang Jia, footed teacup, one thing I remember from an "Oriental Art I" class I took in 1988! LOL
Augie, you and I think alike. I figured I was getting my gov't hush money...I mean, "economic stimulus bonus" so, why not use it to boost another country's economy?

The white glaze on the Oni Hagi is very smooth while the brown areas are very rough clay (mixed with sand). It does look like frosting. I don't know if you can see it in the picture but there is a lavender tint to the white glaze on the outside of the bowl.

Victoria, I love those glass cups. I thought about getting some but I kept hearing that they were very fragile. Let us know how they hold up.

The glazes on some of pots/bowls I made 2 years ago turned out like that white one. I had considered them failures but maybe I'm more of an artist than I realized! :)

Be careful! Those celadon cups looks like they *might* have a hairline fracture! >:D

Bah ... nice cups!

Wow i'm actually a bit surprised that's 120cc. I would have guessed more in the ballpark of 80cc.

Eastree that *cracked* me up!

Very, very nice! Humm on helping the taste, but that would be all the push I would need to get some celedon cups I've been eyeing myself.

I really like the unsual fluted shape of this one, so nice!

Beautiful celadon cup, Hop. Is it from AofT or ??

I did not go shopping for teaware this week. Too much going on with preparing for the holiday (spring equinox). Maybe next week. I am torn between going bargain shopping in Chinatown or going to Ito En for some seriously nice cups.
