Okay cool, that affirms my thoughts as far as cleaning and care goes. Thanks for the advice, peeps.

I found an article on Hojo that is relevant to my question:

Where at?

And how is the tea scene over there? Toledo only has one 'real' tea store, but there are a couple cool handmade ceramics shops as well as numerous arts/crafts fairs throughout the year.

I'm dreading the looming cold weather in the coming months. However it will be nice to have a hot cup of tea on a cold day ;)

Nice pot Jpo. How's the filter?

Just got this little 100ml shimizu pot. Honestly don't know if I'll be buying any other pots now he's not producing anymore.

Cute photobomber in the background there, and sweet little pot.

I'm loving my little leftie Shimizu Ken pot, so I can see the attraction of a whole collection of his work. But there are so many other terrific potters out there...

Oh for sure. It's just I got enough pots and his work is pretty much the only thing that keeps me buying for some reason. It's probably a good natural time to sit back and enjoy my pots

Hand shots, I really dig them for when I'm feeling a little blue.

That's awesome that you got that one! :D Artistic Nippon, yes? I had looked at it for a while but couldn't justify one of that size.

Awesome piece!

Is it me or are hand shots just the best for showing off a piece? It's like a pot isn't quite complete without a human attached to it

Yes, from Toru-san @Artistic Nippon, I can't say enough great things about him and his service. Wanted one for a while and told him my preferred specifications. This one at ~200ml, became available at the same time as the 140ml one currently listed as sold on his site.

Normally I prefer unglazed kyusu, but that one's simply gorgeous.
