I honestly have no idea which I have more of. I stopped counting years ago. If I had to guess, I'd probably say tea, but I'm not positive.

Re: Tuesday TeaDay 3/8/11 Amassed TEAS or TeaCups?
Hands down, tea. I don't buy a lot of teacups, but I loooooove buying tea. It's like setting a kid loose in a proverbial candy store.

As if to prove my earlier point, while I've been thinking about ordering tea lately, I just put in a (provisional) order for two new yunomi with Aristic Nippon. I felt I had to after waking up early for a Deishi auction, only to flop back in bed disappointed and hagi-less ten minutes later.
I love tea, and I love to frame my tea in pretty things.

I would choose teas.
...
I like trying different kinds and brands of tea here.
though somewhat difficult to get foreign brands of tea so I always buy local tea wherever I go.
my mother who prefers a teapot & cup collection, even sometimes I'm angry because the scattered everywhere, even in the garage, bathroom etc..
Who knows one day I got a friend in this forum and exchange of local tea.

Great TD beginning with Kaboku asamushi from Ippodo with the Mrs. followed by Musashi from O-Cha.
Last up, Bigelow Green tea bag at my parents, it had "flavor."

I wanted to bid on this Deishi yunomi set.Chip wrote:What did you bid on, and what did you order???
Instead I ordered these Kashun yunomi. Not too bad of a turn out.

I was seriously looking at the pair of Deishi. Though production pieces, they were very nice, very different, and very drippy.karmaplace wrote:I wanted to bid on this Deishi yunomi set.Chip wrote:What did you bid on, and what did you order???

Nice alternates, Kashun "rocks" heh.

I think the people on this forum know I belong to the T.A.D (Teaware Acquisition Disorder) category. Not to mention the fact that as I have switched to more Green teas, I have substantially cut down on the stock pile of teas I have.

Great choice! I have seen those (Kashun) and lusted after them many times.karmaplace wrote:I wanted to bid on this Deishi yunomi set.Chip wrote:What did you bid on, and what did you order???

Hands down tea! I had more tea this last year than I could drink with yancha alone and now with spring right around the corner I will have more greens to drink along with the remaining yancha. I'm not complaining though
