Ah, so hard to decide!
I think the one-two punch of Golden Yunnan and the best of the Keemuns beats out Assam and Darjeeling by a few hairs' breadths...
Thank heaven we get to have all of the above!

It just varies on how I feel like. But definitely Assam and Keemum
Don't always believe what you think!

OY...I am shocked again by these poll results. Indian black tea is topping Chinese. This is almost mind blowing. Don't get me wrong, I love both actually. I just never thought I would see Indian beating Chinese in this poll when I started it.
I am wondering if the concerns over China are affecting the poll.
Regardless, I will lock this poll at some point and start a new one to reflect more current opinions. Just to see if trends are changing. I also see a daily TeaDay Poll or two coming out of this.

blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!
Darjeeling 2nd flush is my favorite black. But if Scruff is right and it's truly more oolong-ish, that could explain why I like it so much.
Still, it's what I go to most often if looking for caffeine. That or Irish Breakfast.

Definitely Chinese Black Tea. Lapsang Souchong is my favorite specifically.

I voted for India teas. I'm still learning and experimenting, but currently my favorite black tea is Nilgiri Tiger Hill, though at the moment I'm drinking a blend from my local tea seller called Monk’s Blend - "A delicious blend of darjeeling, keemun, assam & nilgiri teas. Designed with meditation in mind."
