The last of an Osmanthus Oolong I got at Ten Ren last November. If I didn't have more Oolong at home, I'd be very sad. . . fortunately I'm set for a while :)

Had a very nice session with FLT winter 2011 Farmers choice Baozhong last night. Happy about that - I've been struggling to enjoy green oolongs this year, not sure if it's a fault of the year or changing taste buds. But this years flt farmers choice baozhong I really like.

Shui Xian from Lifeinateacup.
A good high roasted yancha for the price, IMHO.

Many steeps of 2011 Jin Liu Tiao from EOT. After my first taste of a sample of wuyi rock tea I decided to approach purchasing the same way I started with Puerh - lots of samples. I'm beginning to learn which flavor notes I prefer so when I'm ready to purchase in any quantity I'll make fewer mistakes. Really important given the prices but I'm finding that when I open cabinet where I keep my non-green teas I'm more likely to reach for wuyi than puer.

From Hilo? My mother is there now. She is bringing me back a tin to try. Glad to see you enjoy it.

Fragrant Dong Ding from Floating Leaves. I went a little long on this first steep and I keep getting a hint of....Cheerios?

My companion and I have been practically chugging an oriental beauty from the local teahouse that she really likes (it's probably my favorite from that teahouse as well). It's really nice "grandpa-style".

Maybe I'm just crazy, but I often get that kind of taste when I oversteep light oxi/light roast oolongs.
