This one is smaller than chawan size bowl I own, about 3.5" so it's nice medium size. I'm using it this morning for my Darjeeling. Lovely!

Opps!! Sorry! I dunno about swooped, I had it bookmarked for awhile. I was trying to decide since the color was close to the larger chawan. But the size really won me over. How funny that you knew it was me!

You find some very unique teaware; very nice!

Just ordered this from The Beijing Tea Party (also called Think Beijing, Markets and Languages). I ran across them while doing a search and was impressed by their website, product descriptions, and unusual teaware. I couldn't find much about them or their history, but decided to take a chance and order this Dehua Antique Peking Opera Mask tea set. It's not really an antique, but according to the description it is made basically the same way it was years ago. I hope this "ancient" gaiwan pours better than the modern ones!

Oh, Victoria I had spotted that bowl too...it looks so "tactile".
Here's my new vessels from our very own Petr Novak. (I've not taken any of my own pictures, this is his picture.)


It is a sweet set and I'm so glad I finally treated myself to a bit of Petr's work!!!

There might be several reasons you can't post from PB but when I tried one from your album it said it was too big. 640px is the max. I moved to Flickr for that reason, I was tired of resizing for TC.

BTW Britt, if you switch photo hosting accounts, and delete your existing account, then all your photos on TC that you previously posted will be lost and in their place will be an announcement from the photo hoster saying the photo does not exist.
