I would say about the same. I've been buying tea from the same three or four vendors for about ten years now. I have my favorites and I mostly stick with them. I have tried several Adagio teas and I've been quite pleased with most of them but I would put them on par with my "regular" vendors.

My mind is fuzzy - I think I voted this morning but didn't comment. Newbie with better tea for me. No more bags! Well, unless it is for DH's iced tea.

Busy tea day for me today. Birthday tea, then some of Sarah's peach cobbler (which was wild, how much it tasted like peach cobbler and I bet is awesome iced), then some gyokuro, now some tung ting. Since I just started the tung ting, it'll probably last me until bed.

Kitty hasn't been eating as much today. Might have another steroid shot in her future. I'll end up with Arnold Schwarze-kitty.

I was still "on the bag" (henley, you're going down in history for that one!) last year also, but have much improved tea now that I've switched. We do still use Red Rose bags occasionally for iced tea.

Today was an iced tea day, Assam Melody and Ceylon Sonata mixed. After swimming with my daughter I'm trying to warm up, so right now am drinking a cup of Darjeeling #22. A nice way to end the weekend. :)

I am a newbie experiencing better leaf since starting. Yes. Thanks to TeaChat I have found amazing new vendors and got an advice what to buy from where. I was already drinking loose leaf tea when I came here, but it got so much better. Thanks guys!

I am drinking Formosa Wu Yi from Floating Leaves Tea, just finished the 6th steep. The tea doesn't show any signs of slowing down however.

Brewing some iced tea...but drinking hot, er, well warm, Heirloom Tea Flowers for a low caffeine finish to the TeaDay.

Same here! It still amazes me how much I've spent in less than a year!

The iced White Peach was a hit!!! :D Think I may have a new convert to quality teas.

Ending the day w/Pouchong.

Despite being far from home and despite some disturbing indications from my European editor, here I am sipping on maybe the 12th or 13th infusion of a year 2000 CNNP Grand Red Label shu ... quite nice, especially since I downed a substantial amount of Floating Leaves Spring 2008 Alishan earlier and had a couple hours at an improv club. It's been a good tea day for me.

Oh man, this time last year tea wise, I think i was steeping grocery store gyokuro at sencha temperatures. Yeah... i've come a long way.

Todays cups: mighty leaf classic black, maeda-en shincha, sa hojicha, lupicia adagio (yes, lupicia has a tea called Adagio, makes me want to make a sig blend named Lupicia), lastly some Minute Matcha from Lupicia.

Good day for tea.

Me too. Zoji is reset and temp set for 175 in anticipation of a
GREEN tomorrow.

Every day should be a green day! I keep debating getting another Zoji so I can get the varying temp ones. My current one keeps at 175 and 175 only.
