They all are. The one on the top right is called Dragon's Egg at YS. I love the black clay: it is extemely fine, smooth, and shiny.

Reminders of my consumer excesses.

Not pictured is my cool Dutch tea cozy, all stuffed with down, and the fancy cups and saucers I collect, but don't ever use.
Nice Andy! Love the horse! Let's see your fancy cups too, post please!

Wow, very impressed! I like the bottom left one especially. Enjoy!

A lacquerware tray, two Japanese teacups and a different tea towel would give me a completely different service with my tetsubin.

and... I saw a pretty celadon gaiwan online.
Sigh.
Yes, very easy to be enabled around here. I think a laquerware tray is definitely in order! Opps! Sorry!

On the subject of the black dragon egg pot -- is this well suited to any sort of tea? Perhaps loose puerh? I am not imagining great expansion of the leaves in this shape. That being said, it is one of my very favorite yixing shapes :/

Beats me BH! PM BBB, he will know. I know that I love the clay it is made of, and this pot has a wonderful dense feel to hold it and a rather more metallic sound when struck.

Me too but for reasons that I only discovered holding it in my hands It has more quirks and slight imperfections that make be think it might be hand made rather than slip cast.

Can you explain that to a newbie here? That sounds like a good thing? No?

Slip cast manufacture is a little more mass produced: a slurry of clay and water is poured into a cast and then fired. The traditional method involves shaping all the pieces from maleable clay and fitting them together. (BTW, yixing pots are not made on a potter's wheel) The "handmade" pots have a little more romance about them. For some Youtube links of pot making see http://community.livejournal.com/puerh_tea/188655.html

My brother-in-law, who is a design man with an obsession for form and aesthetic, bought me the black dragon egg pot for Christmas.

I had no idea what pot was coming, I had provided a few links and asked for something 150ml max, as soon as the pot arrived I knew it was destined for young sheng - I suspect this may not be the pairing advised or the reason it was made but it felt right and it does the job well.

I bought him a harmonica neck brace which has turned out to be far more entertaining.

I don't think so; its paper on the outside, though I imagine you could rinse the inside if you were careful.

I recognize the kyuusu from your earlier post. What kind of tea have been brewing in it and how has worked out?

The yixing pot is very stylish looking. Where did you get it and what kinds of tea lie in its future?

Thanks for sharing your pic.

Just about everything, but trying to stick to greens. Im pretty sure now that I got the Yixing, that its glazed.

I got the Yixing in a place called Marco Polo's in Snowbird Utah. I was on vacation and just happened to see some teapots in the window. Right now I have some medium roast oolong brewing.
